Brisbane to Melbourne Roadtrip

We found a wonderful forestry campground (free camp) on part of the old Pacific Highway near Myall Lakes called O'Sullivans Gap. We had it to ourselves being out of school holidays. The most amazing thing happened that evening, fireflys came out of the forest and flew all around the area just on dusk. It was just magical! I have seen glow worms but never fireflys. I actually thought they were just something made up for children's fairy tales! What a start to our roadtrip. We might make this a regular stopover when heading south from Brisbane.
